Renata SA is a global leading manufacturer and supplier of primary and secondary micro-batteries and battery solutions. Company headquarters is located in Itingen near Basel, Switzerland. Our company is always just a moment ahead of its time. Even as long ago as the 1970s we specialized in coin cells. Since 1982 we have been a part of the renowned Swatch Group SA. Initially we concentrated on the quartz watch industry. Today we are developing and producing innovative, economical and premium products both for watches and also for industrial applications. Our particular emphasis continues to be on resource-saving and environmentally friendly solutions.
Precision like a Swiss Clock
We have mastered the entire production process with the precision of a Swiss clock – from the punched battery housing to the injection-molded plastic seal and to preparation of the battery chemicals, down to final assembly. Thanks to our competency and manufacturing prowess we have earned a reputation as an exceptionally flexible and at the same time particularly reliable vendor. The consistently high quality and long-life performance of our coin cells and products are not least the result of our proven quality assurance system.
