With a hermetic glass-to-metal sealing, Renata offers the next generation of rechargeable button cells. This technology provides more volume for active material compared to conventional housing technologies, resulting in higher capacity. The hermetic sealing provides excellent protection against electrolyte leakage. The high mechanical stability without measurable swelling allows the design of highly precise high-end applications that were not possible with previous technologies. Additionally, the electrical properties benefit from the innovative housing design, enabling a longer lifespan with more cycles at higher charging currents.
Renata’s rechargeable cells are ideal for innovative health monitoring, IoT applications, drug delivery devices, smartwatches, smart patches, insulin pens, and many other portable applications.
