A Perfect Team – the Renata ICR 2430 and the Tissot T-Touch Connect Solar
In close cooperation with Tissot we developed the rechargeable lithium coin cell ICR 2430 for the new T-Touch Connect Solar Smartwatch. One highlight of this new battery is its low self – discharge, in which it only has to be recharged once every six months.
The Tissot T-Touch Connect Solar is interactive, autonomous, contemporary and sustainable product that can protect your privacy. The interlinked watch is operated with solar power in combination with our rechargeable battery ICR 2430.
Big Functions and Outstanding Reliability
The T-Touch Connect Solar includes the following basic functions: a countdown, an altimeter, various timers, alarm, alert functions and even has a function for weather prediction. Thanks to the Swiss – developed, low - voltage SwALPS operating system and your Smartphone, there is also many additional functions like a activity tracker, message, incoming call and app-notification functions plus updates, that will keep you on track and up to date.
The T-Touch Connect Solar is distinguished by one additional advantage: It bears the distinction of being Swiss Made. The identification of origin pertains both to the installed components and also to the work of our accomplished specialists within The Swatch Group. Being Swiss Made, is a guarantee of high quality in design and stands for outstanding reliability. Manufacturers do not have access to the data, either via the components or via the operating system, which is huge, unlike the competition. This means that the data cannot be exchanged with third parties either by the watch itself or by your app.
Long - Life and Resistant
Our rechargeable coin cell, the ICR 2430 shines due to its high capacity and the long service life of the cell during its entire life cycle. Due to the specialized engineering, which uses stacked electrodes, we were able to increase both factors significantly in comparison to conventional coin cells. The ICR 2430 outputs 3.7 V. After 500 charge cycles it generally still has nearly fully charge capacity (more than 80%). And in addition, the cell is highly resistant to high and low temperatures and to mechanical loads.
